Realised I had some very interesting connections going back to the 1970s with the performers in the  first three gigs of the new Blow the Fuse season starting at the Vortex. So I wrote something about it!

Well had a great weekend. Combining being a musician and a promoter is hard work though..
The Maze in Nottingham was a great gig, all ages from teenagers to 60s there who share a love of jazz.

Sunday 23 Took part in a panel discussion and then basically three separate sets of music – we had to improvise something as one of the bands turned up really late – fire in Charing Cross station.. What a great afternoon it was. The Blow the Fuse takeover of the QEH Front Room.

In honour of the 2014 EFG London Jazz festival I present my ‘jazz face’.

It’s actually my guitar face. i don’t know why people love to see the bad face but there you go. What on earth to practise as i have gigs coming up this week with LUND, ARQ, Emily Remembered and Baluji Shrivastav.

Just back from a great time in Cornwall with LUND.
Now time for the North London jazz tour; at Ajani’s Grill & Jazz N19 this Thursday and Jan’s Bar this Friday N16.
