One guitar short

Really enjoyed the first gig of my new group Picnic. However arriving at Watermill Jazz in Dorking, discovered i was one guitar short of a picnic!

As I was only playing one guitar that night, this was a far more serious problem that the usual sandwich. Luck was on my side. My neighbour was in, he had keys, Premier cabs swooped round and ten minutes before the gig was due to start my guitar arrived.

Phew.. and no I’ve never done that before. I’d like to thank Watermill Jazz supporters who rallied round and paid for the cab. It would have been slightly more expensive than my flight to venice the next day…
