Yes this is the famous gig where I arrived without my guitar – one guitar short of a picnic!
As I was only playing one guitar that night, this was a far more serious problem that the usual sandwich. Luck was on my side. My neighbour was in, he had keys, Premier cabs swooped round and ten minutes before the gig was due to start my guitar arrived.

Watermill Jazz supporters rallied round and paid for the cab – I promise it won’t be such an expensive evening this time round.
