Guitarist Deirdre Cartwright and bass player Alison Rayner met in 1976 in a shed in Peckham.
The shed was in fact the, ahem, rehearsal space for the proto feminist band ?Jam Today? and
after patching up their irreconcilable differences ? glam rock, meat, girlfriends, the loudness of the guitar, have played together ever since…..
