Electric Landladies at the seaside ~ Whitstable

Saturday, 8th December 2007
8:00 pm

You know how it is. It’s December and you think Mmm let’s go to the seaside. We believe there are people who actually live there all the year ’round – brrrrr. (Just kidding Ann and Laka).

Second of our Christmas gigs. more F U N and a stick of rock or should that be an oyster?

Who are the Electric Landladies? Well apart from a great name, they’re one of the most popular private party bands around. Between them the individual members have been at the core of an incredible variety of memorable womens group in this country including Jam Today, Tour de Force, Sisterhood of Spit, Hi Jinx, Di?s New Outfit, The Guest Stars, Emma Peel Fan Club etc.

However, YOU can come to this splendid gig. Yes, it’s that time of the year when the feeling of a holiday is near but the frenzy of Christmas hasn’t kicked in yet. Time to boogie on down to Whitstable for some FUN.

ELL will be playing a selection of their favourite pop classics of the last four decades. From Abba and Amy through the Beatles and Blondie all the way to Zeppelin (or something that sounds like that..) rock, pop, disco, funk – relive all your past relationships and dance at the same time!
