I started Blow the Fuse in 1989 with Alison Rayner after The Guest Stars split up because we wanted to play regularly with friends and musicians of a similar spirit. Blow the Fuse has grown into one of London?s most successful independent jazz nights, known for its enthusiastic and supportive audiences.

The club ran for nearly 10 years at the old Vortex in Stoke Newington Church Street,
and is currently running at the Drill Hall in Chenies Street WC1
